If we’re mutuals, please at least consider tagging your Israel-Hamas war posts, if you don’t already. I need to be able to filter them for my mental health. I am absolutely exhausted.

i tend to be cautious about bothering cats but I think it’s important to remember that some pretty extreme cat bothering is still within the typical bounds of cat social life

“stop congratulating cis allies for doing the bare minimum” NO!!! i want to encourage speaking out and being on trans people’s side!!! stop being assholes to people just trying to support you and give them room to grow!!!
one of my friends is a cishet woman who struggles with my pronouns and understanding nonbinary people but she will make fun of desantis with me and today she showed me a photo of helium on the periodic table(He) and said “like your pronouns!” and we both fucking lost it. she still sometimes uses my deadname on accident but we’ve been friends since we were 7 and i only came out to her a year or so ago. our enby friend “some guy called me a woman” really upset and my friend went “does he know he’s just wrong???”. she does not understand really hrt or srs but she is on my side. i dont think we should stop there but fuck man, why are you guys so harsh on people for not knowing everything and not being perfect
Someone has said this better than me, but a guy from a small town who replies “I’ve never really understood transsexuals but I think everybody should be able to do whatever the hell they want with their body without the government gettin’ involved” has your back way more than any center-left person who says shit like “I support people who are LGBTQ+ I just don’t think we should be talking about that kind of thing around children”

It is inherently fun and sexy to say statements that swap the traditional genders of pronouns and terms mid-statement, such as:
“I’m going to make him my wife”
“She’s my boyfriend”
“Who says a guy can’t be a pretty princess?”
“That girl’s the coolest dude I’ve ever met”
“She’s a madman who has to be stopped”
“It’s not his fault he’s a material girl”
Gender is a set of watercolors and the prettiest shades come from mixing the paints together. Please refer to me this way

Thanksgiving By the Clock
I’ve noticed over the years that there’s a great deal of variability in the times that people in the US (and, presumably, Canada) serve their big Thanksgiving dinner.
I’m curious about the details. Is this a regional thing? Is it a matter of family tradition? In the USA, are people juggling meal schedules around football games and parades?
This calls for a poll!
My family tradition was Going Out For Thanksgiving Dinner, so don’t feel that Not Doing The Huge Cooking Ritual disqualifies you from this.
What time do you sit down for Thanksgiving Dinner?
🕙🕚 Before Noon (Brunch?)
🕛 Noon (Lunchtime)
🕐🕑 1:00-2:00 PM (Late Lunch)
🕒🕓 3:00-4:00 PM (Early Supper)
🕔🕕 5:00 - 6:00 PM (Suppertime)
🕖🕗 7:00 - 8:00 PM (Late Supper/Formal Dinner)
🕘🕙 After 8:00 PM
🎲🎲 It varies from year to year
🚫🦃 I don’t celebrate Thanksgiving but I want to see the results
Reblog for greater sample size, please!
If you want to include your answer and where you’re from/where you live now in the tags or in your reblog, that should produce some interesting results that are probably meaningless by any statistical measure. 😄
